Well, more than you might think at first glance.
The logo of a company or organisation is likely to be the most ubiquitous element of its overall identity, appearing in all kinds of places and accompanying all manner of promotions or information. It acts as a sort of shorthand to announce and underline all the values and aspirations that the company/organisation wishes to project to its customers. And of course, it should also communicate quickly and clearly something tangible about the actual business and the products or services that it offers.
So it's important to get it right.
Aldred Design can help you identify the qualities and values that your business projects to its users and, perhaps more importantly, the perceptions that those users may have of your business. With this insight, we can then work to develop a design that encapsulates the appropriate messages in a unique, professional and memorable visual identity.
Armed with the right logo, your business can stride out into the marketplace with the confidence required to appeal to, attract and retain those valuable customers for your products or services.
What's involved?
Whether you require a new logo creating for your business, or you have an existing logo that needs tweaking, refreshing or completely changing, we can help you.
Every design challenge is solved by creating a solution that is always appropriate, often simple and sometimes surprising. After discussing with you the aims and aspirations for your business and getting a feel for your personal likes/dislikes a number of design concepts will be developed (usually between 3 and 5, but sometimes more) for initial presentation. After this, the preferred option(s) is further developed and refined to reach a final stage. The approved logo will then be provided to you in all the formats necessary for reproduction across different types of media (print, web, email, signage etc.).
Aldred Design will also retain your final logo artwork on file, enabling it be issued to any other parties (e.g. printers, sign makers, website designers) on your behalf, to ensure that the correct proportions, colours, fonts etc. are maintained and that the logo is reproduced to a consistent quality across different types of media.
